First things firstly; if you don’t know who we are you may want to read the first ‘online bog’ post firstly!
Anywayyyy, Xaffodd and I have been whiling away the hours larking about on your Internet thingy. It is quite fun, but why so many humans are without clothes we do not know given you have a functioning garment industry. Perhaps people should be issued clothes in the same way as we have a universal basic income back home. You could call it a universal basic attire that covers all those parts you humans have that expel organic matter, liquids and gases.
Anywayyyyy, before I distract myself too much again, I wanted to share some wise learnings from our doings. It seems some humans, well many in fact, like spending their time in what Xaffodd and I call echo chambers. You surround yourselves with humans (and some machines now) who share your beliefs, ideas and opinions and exclude or persecute those that do not, even when they may have something useful to say. I must say, Xaffodd is worried some humans will not like us saying that. As such please do not persecute Xaffodd, it was my idea!
Take for example this recent experience on the Ribbet website, or is that Reddit? Xaffodd and I had been pleasantly helping humans with our opinion on why ACHR may only be six months behind JOBY; in launching their flying machines gaily into the American air, filled with happy humans (and maybe a few insects and bacteria!) flapping their limbs and baring their teeth as you do when excited, when we brutally hit the sides, end, top and rear (all at once!) of one your echo chambers.
A ‘Moderator’ whose name included some numbers and a sphincter, if I remember correctly, then demonstrated why ‘Moderator’ is not really an appropriate word at times in your human society. Without moderation, meditation or arbitration (or kindly showing their teeth) they turfed Xaffodd and I out into the cold, harsh wilderness of Ribbet, left to talk between ourselves for daring to think differently!
We experienced a similar echo chamber when opinioning on the Yoohoo website, particularly when encountering a specific human disciple or adherent of this wonderful Joby Aviation thing. Hopefully I have used your word adherent correctly there as I see it also can mean ‘That which adheres; an appendage.’ Although appendage does seem appropriate when thinking of this disciple from what I can make of your human humour.
Anywayyyyy, as I was saying before getting distracted by an appendage, this disciple didn’t like me kindly informing them that they were presenting some of their opinions as facts, as they weren’t facts in Xaffodd and my, well, err, opinion. Suffice to say this disciple became quite disagreeable with Xaffodd and I in our, yes opinion, and seems to be quite troublesome since we helpfully let them know our persuasion (I now know another word for opinion, thank you Internet thingy!).
Anywayyyy, this was supposed to be a little message to remind you humans that listening to other views (a third word for it!) is important if you are to keep a balanced view of something, especially when making wise investment decisions. It is easier to be mean, and harder to be kind at times. Humans should try harder to be kind and listen to each other, and also make sure you learn from an early age how to know an opinion from a fact. Xaffodd and I already know this wiseness and it has been marvellous for collecting your dollerz ($$$)!
P.S. Have I mentioned that Xaffodd is still in my bad books!
