≈$10k to $1m

Of the total Double Bubbler investment balance, a large proportion came from a starting investment position of approximately $10,700 in May 2023. I call this the seed capital.

One of my goals is to hopefully demonstrate how I turn approximately $10,000 into $1,000,000 in a reasonably short time frame. It should be noted that the table below includes a mirrored trading position (investing through two separate trading accounts for my partner and I) so in effect the starting seed capital was approximately $21,400. The target on the table that I must therefore achieve is $2,000,000 for my attempt. However as the trades are duplicated across both investment accounts you can easily see the progress to $1,000,000 by halving the balances below.

Using the seed capital the following trades were made and the running balance is as follows;

Current Holding: ENSI.L – 450,000 shares in challenge and 1,102,135 overall!

It should be noted that this table does not include all my investment trades and positions. Only shares that I consider part of the $10,000 to $1,000,000 challenge.

If you would also like to see my general historical investment performance you can do so here.

* Stop Loss order triggered. I subsequently bought back in with capital outside of the $10k to $1m challenge, as while taking my time to review the situation I felt EnSilica had greater overall potential to achieve my adventurous goals in the shortest time, despite SES A.S. being worthy of investment.

  1. Hi, how did you manage to acquire all those shares of ensilica?
On t212 it only allows me to buy ~1000 shares

    1. Hi Manuel, I use a pay to trade broker (ii) and I don’t have the restrictions that T212 seems to introduce for their free to trade customers on certain stocks.

A number of people have mentioned on my Reddit sub the same problem as you and I think it is due to how T212 works with the market maker for EnSilica’s shares (on London’s junior market – AIM).

        1. Thank you, I hope you have a nice day too. Just to let you know I contacted Trading 212 yesterday and asked them to consider increasing the limit of 1512 shares for ENSI. Fingers crossed!

          1. Oh nice thank you for doing that.
I’ve opened a II account just to increase my ensi holdings but those fees are mad.

          2. Yes, I suspect if Warren Buffett was reading this he would be frowning about the fees!

      1. Hi, thanks for the comment.

My better half and I currently possess 55,760 shares. This is less than the original holding for the reason given on the page above and which states…

‘* Stop Loss order triggered. Personally I expect our current investment in SES A.S. to do very well over the coming years and look forward to enjoying further chunky dividends that we can reinvest, in the hope of benefiting from compound gains. SES is a very exciting company to be invested in.

As for EnSilica, that is now my challenge stock as I think that in the coming years it has the potential for its share price to grow perhaps 10x all things going well, and that would then take my challenge beyond $1 million. 🤞

        All the best,

        Mark aka Double Bubbler
