If I were superstitious (which I no longer am thanks to Xaffodd*) all three of my Double Bubbler stocks moving into the $8 price range (i.e. 888 when looked at sideways from a jaunty angle) in the same month would have seemed pretty auspicious to me.
* I am no longer superstitious as the last time I saw those three numbers together was when our ship (the PV Donāt Try This At Home*) was 8.88AU from your planet and Xaffodd suggested their now infamous āsightseeing slingshot of sortsā round what we call REDACTED.1b (your planet Earth!). Have I mentioned that Xaffodd is still in my bad books; Book 9?
Anyway that supposedly pleasant manoeuvre resulted in me being rudely and rather abruptly awakened from my DB Industries EzSleepPodā¢ as our ship impacted your planet rather than jauntily swinging by, while we waved our limbs and showed our teeth as you humans like to do. Suffice to say I no longer see 888 as auspicious.
Aside from that why does this WordPress Internet truth broadcast systemās spellcheck keep trying to change the name of the EzSleepPodā¢ to SleezePodā¢!
Aside from that aside, I would like the world of humans to know that Double Bubbler is in no way associated with DB Industries. Death Bed Industries as they are formally known back home has nothing to do with Double Bubbler.
As a final aside (for now!) I would also like to make it clear that I DO NOT intend using the SleezePodā¢ on our ship as it needs a jolly good clean. Do you humans have advertisations for it on your telly boxes or Internet thingys? You may remember the rather catchy tag line: āDeath Bed Industries SleezePodā¢ – Go out with a bang!ā
