As many will know, winter can be a particularly difficult time for some people with the long dark nights and short days. This can take its toll on people’s mental health, especially so in the remote part of the Scottish Highlands* where I live.
I want to do something positive to help. I have decided to take part in The Push-Up Challenge in partnership with Samaritans, the charity that makes sure there is always someone there if you’re in crisis. Your donation will go towards ensuring a Samaritan is there to answer a life-saving call or message for help, ongoing training and support of existing volunteers, as well as recruiting new volunteers.
I have set a bold target, but one I hope is more than achievable. Especially when you consider the target equates to only about £5 / $7 if everyone on my Reddit sub decides to help. You can donate here…

Alternatively you can donate directly at https://www.samaritans.org and please let me know (by comment or DM) if you donate directly as a result of my push-up challenge as I can then include your donation in my overall total raised.
Many thanks for your help!
