I am currently looking pretty wild I have to admit… to the point recently where someone who has known me for many years didn’t recognise me when I stepped out of a lift. My beard is the longest it has ever been and my hair is starting to look like a hobo. All in preparation for my ‘cameo’ appearance in a film.
When I first signed up for the film I expected to grow my beard and hair for a couple of months at most, but the lead actor is injured so filming doesn’t take place until spring next year now. By which time I am going to look a little like Captain Caveman, all in the name of (hopefully!) making my first brief appearance on the big screen.
I have started to see a resemblance to how I imagine my grandfather on my mother’s side may have looked for a time during the second world war, while in the north African desert with ‘L’ Detachment / 1 SAS…
So I am curious, what wild and exciting things are you planning for the coming year that involves putting in some extra effort or something unusual?
