Here we go again! Despite being busy with one thing or another in life, my passion for investing keeps bringing me back to the stock market. And so, with my existing ≈$10k to $1m challenge that I started in 2023 in a period requiring patience while waiting for the wider market to recognise what I believe to be the true value of EnSilica plc (ENSI.L), that has left me time to look at starting a second challenge. One that will be entirely focused on the US stock markets.
Having fully exited the US markets in 2025 and exchanged my US dollar (USD) capital for British Pounds (GBP) and Euros (EUR), due to concerns (which I largely still hold) about US political volatility and policy negatively affecting the strength of the USD and US markets, I nonetheless have decided to make a modest re-entry given various seemingly promising opportunities exist, despite the continued turbulence and possible direction of the USD.
My goal once again is to hopefully demonstrate how I turn approximately $10,000 into $1,000,000 in a reasonably short time frame, in this case less than ten years. As with the existing challenge I will be operating a mirrored trading position (investing through two separate investment accounts for my partner and I) however the table below reflects only my tranche.
