EnSilica: Is hopefully coming to the United States of America with an OTC Markets dual-listing! 🇺🇸🇬🇧

‘Intention for shares to cross-trade on the OTCQB Venture Market in the USA

EnSilica plc (AIM: ENSI), a leading fabless, application-specific chipmaker, announces that it has filed an application with the OTC Markets Group (“OTC“) for the Company’s ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each (“Ordinary Shares“) to be publicly cross-traded on the OTCQB Venture Market (the “OTCQB Market“). Subject to approval, the OTCQB Market will provide easier access to trading in the Ordinary Shares to investors in North America.

The Ordinary Shares will continue to trade on AIM under the ticker “ENSI”. A further announcement will be made once the application is approved.’

This is great news, and all credit and thanks to EnSilica’s management team for considering this suggestion. Fortune favours the brave as they say!

According to Simply Wall St data, EnSilica currently trades at a price-to-sales (PS) ratio of 2.3. This is a large and in my opinion unreasonable discount compared to the British semiconductor market three year average PS of 3.2. It is also a significant discount to the US market three year average PS of 10.8.

An OTC Markets listing opens up the opportunity for tens of millions of US investors to consider investing in EnSilica, as currently many US brokers do not facilitate access to London’s junior AIM index. Should EnSilica’s OTC application be approved then in time I hope to see the company’s PS to move higher to reflect its international status and ambition to become Europe’s premier end-to-end application specific chip designer and a highly profitable ‘fabless’ semiconductor.
