Okay, so it kind of takes the fun out of an ‘Exciting News’ post when the exciting news is immediately revealed in the title, however some people (those that prefer cat videos possibly according to Xaffodd) may not get past the title, so I decided I was best off putting the exciting news there!
Being a ‘hyper-active investor’ and truly relentless in my activities at times I believe I have established a reliable connection between Rolls Royce Holdings plc and EnSilica plc. This is incredibly exciting news as it is another internationally renowned business producing EnSilica Enabled products and possibly the first combined aerospace and defence firm doing so.
So think for a moment… EnSilica has possibly entered the defence trade, which as many will know is a growing sector given the heightened risks facing democracies currently. Prove their worth here and significant future orders may follow.
I have made the connection as I spend a lot of my time consuming information, to the point Xaffodd says Double Bubbler and information is akin to a Basking Shark and plankton. My brain is then able to use the information and make connections as new information comes available.
In this case it was relatively straightforward and thanks to digging through historical London Stock Exchange announcements for EnSilica. And as already mentioned I believe I have confirmed recently that Jaguar Land Rover is an EnSilica Enabled customer, as well as that the groundbreaking AST SpaceMobile AST5000 ASIC chip is designed by EnSilica in collaboration with Cadence Systems ‘tools, flow and IP’.
So, why am I of the opinion that Rolls Royce is a customer. When referencing the London Stock Exchange RNS article linked below three comments stand out…
- ‘prestigious supplier of power and propulsion systems used in the air, at sea, and on land’
- ‘globally renowned and highly prestigious engineering company’
- ‘EnSilica’s expertise in … makes us an ideal partner for sectors such as aerospace companies requiring high quality, high reliability semiconductor products using resilient bespoke supply chains.’
In my mind that can only be Rolls Royce Holdings plc however as always I welcome comments and constructive criticism, as it will help me refine my research and seek further corroboration if necessary and available.
If correct then the roll call of EnSilica customers is pretty impressive when including Rolls Royce (Aerospace & Defence), Jaguar Land Rover, AST SpaceMobile as well as the British and European Space Agencies. For a relatively small company (for now) they are punching well above their weight in my opinion.
Keep up the great work team EnSilica!

For what its worth, Xaffodd suggested putting those three statements into ChatGPT and asking which company it believes they refer to. Guess what, it also suggested Rolls Royce!
